AXMO Design is a full-service interior design and creative direction studio based in Amsterdam. We work with private clients and businesses across Europe - designing spaces that are beautiful by intention and functional by principle.
Every project is managed end-to-end: from the first mood board and technical drawings to bespoke furniture production, contractor coordination, and final styling. One studio. One point of contact. Complete ownership from concept to handover.
FOUNDER
The studio was founded by Irina Malakauskiene, an interior designer and creative director with over 18 years of experience across residential and commercial projects in the Netherlands, Europe, and beyond.
Coming from an artistic family, Irina brings an innate understanding of materials, proportion, and the way a space makes you feel. Her design philosophy is rooted in one belief: that a well-designed interior is not a luxury - it is an investment in daily life and long-term property value.
Through years of work, she has built a trusted network of craftsmen, suppliers, and trade partners across Europe - giving every AXMO project access to quality and pricing that simply is not available on the open market.
For private clients
For private clients, AXMO offers a complete residential design service - from pre-purchase property advisory and concept development to technical construction drawings, bespoke furniture design, procurement, project supervision, and final decoration.
For business clients
AXMO acts as creative director - building brand aligned spaces for hospitality venues, retail environments, and commercial offices. We design the identity of the space and manage its full realization.
