THE BRIEF
A 135 m² apartment in Amsterdam's prestigious Zuidas business district, acquired by a self-made executive woman with an exact sense of how she wished to live. She came to us not only for design, but for complete ownership of the project - concept, construction supervision, and full procurement. The previous interior was dated, a relic of another era. Two antique lamps from the former owner's bedroom were the only elements worth carrying forward, and they found their place in the new master suite.
The brief was precise: a master bedroom with a spa style bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe worthy of the role. A composed guest bedroom with its own bathroom. And a kitchen that would refuse to look like a kitchen - hidden behind clean sliding doors, dissolving into the architecture, and opening into a dining area defined by a sculptural bench and a living space of quiet, deliberate luxury.

With complete trust placed in our hands, we rebuilt the apartment around our client's life. Structural walls were repositioned to create the generous double-door threshold from master bedroom to bathroom - a gesture that transforms a morning routine into a ritual. Every bedroom and bathroom was reimagined from the ground up; the living zone was retained and elevated, with the integrated kitchen and accent dining area composing a social sequence of exceptional coherence and flow.
Bespoke joinery, impeccable finishing materials, and a bold use of deep wall color give the apartment an identity that is immediately, unmistakably personal. The balance of statement and restraint - bold color anchored by precise detailing, custom furniture scaled exactly to the space - is what separates a designed room from a considered home. Every decision was made with the client's daily life, not a trend board, as the point of reference.
